If you read part 1 of Barry’s photography from our journey from August 2021 onwards (here’s a link to it), you’ll know we travelled from Debdale Wharf to Chester. With a few side routes to Glastonbury and Cornwall.
This slideshow covers our travels from the Harecastle Tunnel, through Stoke and the potteries, all the way up to Ellesmere Port and the National Waterways Museum. Along the way, there are sneaks of stunning Glastonbury and Wells in Somerset by road. In the shots by the canal, you’ll note glimpses of Tattenhall Marina, where we enjoyed many pleasant days and nights, as well as Chester city centre – our main winter mooring area.
