From Lake Brunner, we headed to 'Jackson's Alpine Retreat' with Jamie on Saturday 13th February. We enjoyed some amazing experiences.
Following a dreary outlook at Greymouth, we enjoyed a brief stay at Blackball before arriving at the astoundingly beatific Lake Brunner.
Our next fabulous freedom camping spot, Sunday 7th February, was near Fox River - across the road from the beach. Followed by a day of walks!
From Kohaihai we returned to Westport, staying overnight on Thursday 4th February en route at the Seddonville Hotel. Run by Graeme McKenzie since 2003, the premises are currently for sale.
